Worst experience , I’ve schedule my car for a oil change service , my son told the advisor that he doesn’t want any inspections to the car After a long wait my son sink ask the advisor why is taking so long , the advisor recommended to work on the brakes and other from the inspection it was done He force my son to sign a waiver for leaving the dealer without having service on the brakes , and right before my son left , he was sarcastic and wishing good lock with the car This car had done the brakes done this year with another mechanic
Arlington Toyota sold me a car with a salvage junk title uninsurable !!!!!! don't buy a care the will RIP YOU OFF !!!!!!!!!!
Disappointed is the very best I can say about this dealership. Since I was sick my husband had to go to pick up the truck we bought himself. He didn’t realize 1) there was no spare key with the car and 2) not that it’s the biggest deal in the world, but everytime I have purchased a car, new or used, the dealer would at least send me off with a full tank of gas. Well, the manager Matthew over there said they don’t do that for used car buyers (like we are some sort of lesser buyer). And he has no obligation to give us a spare key. So we will drive the hour to take the truck back rather than deal with the condescending attitude of this place. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Avoid this place at all costs
The salesman treated us like yesterday’s garbage. My husband wanted a car that wasn’t detailed and I told Pete I was hesitant to buy such an expensive car with it looking top notch inside & outside. He pressured me we was in good hands. Well we wasn’t & when we called him he had so much attitude and arrogance you would have thought we slapped his mama! His integrity is awful & instead of working with us he wanted to argue with us. But he wasn’t arguing when we bought the car from him! What a JERK! We are a Toyota family but if this is how Arlington Toyota treat ppl after a sale?? BEEATE☠️☠️☠️☠️
Great deal on a 2004 Rav4 sold to me by Kateryna Polishchuk. Answered all of my questions and was patient throughout the process. I looked at multiple vehicles over multiple weeks, asked for Kateryna each time, and while she was supportive and responsive, I never felt uncomfortable or pressured which is important to me. I really appreciate her help, and she'll be my first call the next time I need a used or new car.
Record if you can especially when you are dealing with their Service center. You will end up paying more than what they said and they will pretend did not know the person you set up the appointment with or what they quoted the service fee for. I have been using this place for over 9 yrs and I started to notice the customer Service at the Service center is getting WORST and WORST Especially when they answered phone, they hung up so quickly without customer starts the conversation. They quoted less price than what they charged you and won't honor the price they quoted and pretend no one know who did it. Depends on who you talked to , you may have different prices to replace 4 tires -will end up with $300 difference. WATCH OUT!!
We have purchased two new vehicles from this dealership over the years. Their sales staff were always very helpful and gave us great deals. I recently had an issue with my vehicle and went in for service. My complaint was a repetitive "thump-thump-thump" while driving. I'd looked at the wheels, tires and underbody and saw nothing. When I pulled in for service one of the technicians responsible for onboarding customer vehicles, a nice young man who gave his name only as "Brett", happened to say, "You know you've got a lump of tar on your front wheel..." And sure enough, I'd picked one up somehow at one of the many, many road construction projects going on (it's an election year, right?). Brett and his crew let me roll away and I scraped off the tar at home. THANKS BRETT! I really appreciate the service!
The Sales team was incredible, I went to go purchase a Toyota Camry SE back at end of November of 2022. When I bought the car I was told the tires were all brand new and I verified it myself along with my family. Fast forward into April for my cars first tire rotation and that’s when I had major problems with the service department. My car somehow came out with a different brand of tires on the two back wheels. They were utterly destroyed, as they showed tears and wear and were utterly unsafe for use if I had kept driving I would have most definitely gotten hurt in an accident if any of the tires popped. We called and brought up this concern and talked to the manager Nino who completely refused and denied any wrong doing that happened he said and I quote “It would have been impossible as your car would of alerted you of a tire being swapped out because the tire pressure sensors would have had to have been reset and the price to do that is way more than what the tires cost.” When we asked for the surveillance footage of the car being serviced we were told they only keep footage for up to 3 weeks maximum and it was impossible to pull up the footage. Fast forward again and I had to go buy a full set of new tires for the car I’ve only owned for 8 months and surprisingly as they swapped the tires my car never alerted us. While at the tire dealership it was brought to our attention that the cars alignment was also really messed up along with the Front two wheels showing obvious signs of Repair. I would highly recommend to avoid servicing your cars at this location!! I brought my car in for a simple tire rotation and it cost me almost $1000 to repair the things that were done to my car instead. I would understand maybe one problem happening but it’s to much of a coincidence for all of that to have happened to my car in the last 3 months of driving especially after having gotten it just serviced. Please be beware! Make sure to take pictures of every little detail and check over your cars multiple times before and after servicing here!!!! -Jose
Service area is very poorly managed. There is no service that takes less than 90 minutes. And expect them to say you need filters even if you just replaced them. Software upgrade to get Bluetooth took nearly 2 hours. And they charged $156. What a joke.
I recently purchased a 2023 Toyota Supra A91-MT edition here and was impressed with the entire experience. It was a long journey to find a dealership that was approachable and who wanted my business. Multiple other dealers I contacted were either rude or dismissive of customer questions. Arlington was great. They had the exact vehicle I was looking for, and it was priced less new than others were used! Ricky, Fred and Val were fantastic to work with. These guys were all friendly, personable and answered every question I had; as an out of town buyer that was a big deal. Ricky was my first point of contact and did a phenomenal job getting things started. Fred took it from there as my sales advisor. He welcomed any questions I had and was willing to respond on his personal number even off hours. Everything was pretty much ready to roll by time I drove there (~2 hours from home). Val in finance is a funny guy! He’s friendly, and doesn’t pressure or shove anything at you that you don’t want. All offerings (warranty, gap coverage etc were clearly explained). His stories about Russian dump trucks are hilarious to boot! In summary - this was a FUN, friendly experience. It’s how car buying should be. Thanks again guys!
Recently I purchased a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid from Arlington Toyota through sales associate Adam Ciemierzynski. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. He made the car-buying process so smooth, convenient, and fun. He went above and beyond to help me tread in my car and get the best payment option for not-so-great credit and Mauricio from the finance department made the process of signing paperwork effortless. I would recommend Adam to anyone if they looking to purchase a new or used car. He is the reason why I will always come back to Arlington Toyota.
I have never been treated at such a high level of disrespect and disregard. I went to the Toyota dealership in Arlington Toyota in Palatine, Illinois to look into buying a Toyota. I had been to Hyundai, Honda, and Kia before this. I asked about the possibility of test driving cars, and the sales rep informed me that that wouldn't be possible considering the only one they had was in the showroom. He was not accomodating, nor informative about if there were any cars to drive nearby. He stated that Toyotas are the best and none of the other cars I drove that day come close to the Toyota. He also said "we don't even have to try at our jobs to sell these cars". Regardless of the great reputation of Toyota, I wanted to drive the car to compare it with others. I wanted to see the handling of the car, as well as the acceleration and visibility. This man had a complete disregard for us and told me that the car would be sold by either today or tomorrow. He was pushy and said that in order to TEST drive the car, I would need to put down a deposit and wait 6 weeks to 6 months just to test drive it. He then told me that even if all of that happened, I would get whatever they brought in and would have to wait 6 months to 1 year for the car. While these may be facts, the manner in which he stated these was like he was above us. Again, I understand that Toyota is a stellar brand (which is why I went to the dealership in the first place), but I would've expected that Toyota would have hired a more professional rep to display and encourage their sales. I was completely disappointed to say the least, as the RAV-4 was my dream affordable car and I no longer want a Toyota due to the ridiculous and discouraging experience I had at Arlington Toyota.
You responded to the review I left yesterday by saying I should contact John Pitchford "Customer Relations Manager". When I call and asked for Mr. Pitchford, the person that answered the phone said "er, uh,... can you hang on?". I was then transfered to someone else who asked "who do you want to talk to?" I was again asked to hold on. After a couple of minutes on hold I hung up. It's obvious that John Pitchford is a made up person just like the mythical saleswoman "Ashly Bell" who emailed me 6 times yesterday about the vehicle I was interested in, yet when I called I was told"er, uh...it's her day off". Even more funny, when I arrived at the dealership I was told "she works at a different location". Funny how the "Customer Relations Manager" isn't even listed as an employee on this site. The lies and sleazy used car tricks just never end with you guys. Thankfully, I know it's not the entire industry so this weekend I will go to a REPUTABLE dealership and purchase a vehicle. Nice try though.
I can't believe in this day and age that a large, well known dealership would still play the old dishonest games that used car dealers pulled for years back in the day. After contacting Arlington Toyota this morning about a vehicle they had advertised. I was assured in several emails that it was indeed on their lot and available. I told them that I would leave work early . I of course did not expect them to "hold " the vehicle but PLEASE contact if it is sold before I got there. They assured me that they would. At 4:30pm I contacted the dealership and was told it was still there and ready to be test driven. I showed up 30 minutes later and was told "it was JUST sold". I asked how was it possible that in 30 minutes someone came in, test drove, did the paperwork, and left in the vehicle? "Oh he paid cash" I was told. Really? Is there ANYBODY in the world stupid enough to believe that? And why in the world would I EVEN CONSIDER buying a different vehicle from a dealer that would play such sleazy games. Run, don't walk as far away from this place as possible.
We are very happy to visit today. Akash and Pete both were very helpful, curtious and answer all of our questions. They both are good assets of the company.
They have many ways to engage with them so I filled out a form to ask for an out the door price for a specific vehicle. No trade in, no financing. They sent me a follow up text and email that basically says you have to come in to get a price. The reason is they have a large amount of add ons they say are already on the vehicle - high margin limited value items. Toyota is a good car, the dealer is harming the brand. I'm going to buy a Mazda instead. They actually gave me a price without add ons. Go somewhere else.
Tried to buy a Rav4 but they wanted to mark it up about 7k for nonsense like nitrogen in the tires, covid-19 disinfection, vin etching, etc. After about an hour of back and forth they took off 2k and would not budge. I decided to leave. They also appraised my car for trade in and now my brake fluid is leaking... Awfully suspicious timing. DO NOT visit this place unless you want to be lied to and pay more than you should.
Should have know this dealer ship was no good. First: I had to put down a non-refundable deposit down on a 2023 Toyota RAV-4 Prime XSE, PP. Second: Bill a Sales sent to me via email stated Vin Etch for $397.11 (optional) and Xzillion Protection $1099.00 (optional). When I spoke with sales they waived the Vin Etch, which I did for $24.00. But would not wave the Xzillon Protection. The had me pick the car up on a Friday night one hour before closing. I stated again I did not want Xzillon Protection. Sales said it was part of a package deal. I asked why then was it optional on the bill of sales. Sales said they will have no problem selling this car to someone else if I did not want it. Third: I brought up the HV cable problem. Sales called 5 more sales people to come out to "talk" with me and said they knew nothing about it. I had them google #cablegait. They all were speechless. Fourth: When I had the car home it did not come with the cargo mat. Instead I was given a garage net. I called back Arlington and they said if it didn't come with the car that is the way it is. This is the service you get for paying $14000.00 over MSRP.
Throughout the several years and many different models of Toyotas Mathew, Fred, and bob couldn’t be anymore of a pleasure to work with. They have made the car buying process so easy and convenient for me and my family. They truly go above and beyond on everything and for many more years to come I will always come back to Arlington Toyota because of Mathew!!
We just purchased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma from Arlington Toyota from Melanie. She was great! She knew the vehicle and answered all of our questions regarding the Tacoma. She was easy to work with and is very customer focused. I would refer anyone to her if you're looking for a new or used vehicle.
Just visited this dealer looking for a new Rav4 Hybrid. Saw one I liked, went to check it out in person. Upon seeing the car, the salesman walked up to me and started chatting about the car. Then he informs me the cars price which has a "13k market adjustment". I told him there's no way I'm paying that. Then he goes to his computer and comes back with similar cars from CarMax that are marked up as well. Completely pointless in my mind since I came to a TOYOTA dealership and not a CarMax. So we chat about the "market adjustment" for a while and he basically says he can take a little off but "not much". As I'm walking out I look around some more at other cars, sequoias, Camrys. Then the salesman comes up to me and says he spoke with his manager and says he can take off all the "market adjustment" for Camrys but not trucks. What the xxxx kinda business tactic is that? I grin and leave. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Please make sure you think very very hard before shopping here.
I had visited the Toyota dealership at Arlington Heights in 2015 as we were looking for a new 4Runner. The individuals seated at the front-desk at that time, were not helpful. They initially ignored me. They acted as if I was there to waste their time. Then went to another dealership and bought a car from there. In 2018, we were looking for a car and again considering a 4Runner. I looked up the dealership’s website, and decided to contact Akash. Made the right decision!! Akash was very pleasant when I met with him. However, the dealership did not have a 4Runner at that specific time. June 2022, the dealership did have a 4Runner. Contacted Akash. As I mentioned earlier, Akash is very pleasant to work with. That is not all, he went out of his way to see that I was satisfied with car. That it had the features we were looking for. Updated me when the car was delivered to the dealership. A very good job on the communication front. Answered all my questions when asked. There was no, “I will get back to you”. Akash was extremely obliging, understanding. Saw that the car was delivered to my requirements. Akash even followed up to ask if I had any questions about the car. Thank you again Akash! I made the right decision contacting you!! I would also like to thank Amin (Sales Manager) and Mike (Finance) for their courtesy.
Very good responses about my interests in new Toyota cars and services. My great thanks to Mr. Alex Dubinsky for his excellent and great attends to my calls.
This dealer can’t figure out if there head is up there xxx or not! When you make a appointment the person should know how things are done wrong guess again the like to waste you time and let you run around like chicken with it’s head cut off while they sit back and laugh at you!
We bought 2 cars from Arlington Toyota, Matthew Tabatabai was so friendly and knowledgeable. He also gave us his personal phone number and told to call him anytime we need help! He is great!
