The 2020 RAV4 is popular, without a doubt. For many, it’s the first or second vehicle they think of when they start browsing the crossover SUV market. However, due to this popularity, Toyota has added myriad features and packages to each trim, making it hard to keep track of which trims have which features and available packages.
We’ve got you covered. Here’s our comparison for the 2020 Toyota RAV4 XLE and XLE Premium. See what each trim comes with below.
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 is available in six different trims: LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure, Limited, and the TRD Off-Road. Each one comes with 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Each RAV4 comes with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite. That means every RAV4 has a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high-beams, lane tracing assist, and road sign assist. Both the XLE and XLE Premium also have a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth capability, an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot, and satellite radio.
The RAV4 XLE starts at $27,145. Its standard features include an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, proximity keyless entry, heated outside mirrors, and five USB ports. There are three available packages: Cold Weather, Convenience, and Audio Plus. Cold Weather includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and automatic rain-sensing wipers. Convenience gives your RAV4 a power liftgate and a moonroof. Audio Plus upgrades the 7-inch touchscreen to an 8-inch one.
The XLE Premium starts at $29,850. It features everything from XLE while adding a few more things. It has SofTex synthetic leather upholstery, a power liftgate, a moonroof, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. The XLE Premium also has three similar, but different, available packages: Cold Weather, Audio Plus, and Technology. Cold Weather adds the same features it does on the XLE, along with memory settings for the driver’s seat. Audio Plus also upgrades the touchscreen to 8-inches, but includes an 11-speaker JBL premium sound system this time around. Technology adds a host of driver assistive features, including front/rear parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, wireless smartphone charging, a rearview mirror camera, and a universal garage door opener.
