2020 Toyota 86 rounding a corner on a race track

2020 Toyota 86 | Palatine, IL

The Toyota 86 has been a go-to sports coupe for a few years now. With its focus on performance and driver-experience, the 86 is all about driving. While many have their eyes on the 2020 Supra—as we also do—the 2020 86 is looking to be just as good. The 86 is a pleasure to ride in and an absolute blast to drive.

The 2020 86 is available in three trim levels: 86, 86 GT, and the Japanese turnpike-inspired 86 Hakone Edition. Each is brilliant in its own right and we’re excited about all of them. The Toyota 86 is looking to become a classic like the Supra, Celica, and AE86 before it.

Race-Ready Performance Specs

The 86 has a flat-four pumping out 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque and a 6-speed manual transmission. Paired with a Torsen limited slip differential and a Hachi Roku RWD chassis, the 86 is born for track days. Speaking of which, you can turn off the vehicle stability control completely with VSC Full-Off Mode. For those who want it, the coveted TRD suspension package is once again available on the 86, giving you even more control. Combine all these features and you get a thrilling vehicle. It doesn’t matter if you’re on your way to work or out at the local track, the 86 delivers.
