Advantages of the Toyota Tundra

With 310 horsepower and 327 pound-feet in torque, the Tundra shows its engine is very powerful. This is a great difference compared to the 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet in torque that the Sierra 1500 can generate. The transmission is the same for both the Toyota Tundra and the GMC Sierra 1500, so we will call that a tie. If you are a driver that is looking to carry more than three passengers, then the Tundra would be the better choice. The Tundra has a second row available to seat another three people or extra belongings. Overall, the Toyota Tundra and the GMC Sierra 1500 proved to be worthy opponents. However, the Tundra pulled ahead due to its higher engine strength and seating capacity.
