2019 Toyota Camry vs 2019 Honda Accord

It has been a couple years since we last looked at the biggest rivalry on our lineup. Toyota and Honda have been adversaries for generations, with each of their vehicles measuring up quite well to one another. For a long time, the epitome of those rivalries have encapsulated the 2019 Toyota Camry vs 2019 Honda Accord. We thought we’d reignite the feud once again by comparing these two sedans to each other, read on to see how they fare.

Advantages of the 2019 Camry

After but a simple glance at the table just above, it becomes clear to see that these two sedans are incredibly comparable to one another, but also that each vehicle has its clear advantages over the other. For the Toyota Camry, its biggest advantage is the extra 11 horsepower generated by its powertrain. That’s not a massive difference, but it is enough to tip the scales in the Camry’s favor.

Those scales are only enhanced in the Camry’s favor by the information in the second row, which showcases the Camry’s advantage in fuel efficiency. Again, not a huge difference at only one extra mile per gallon combined, but an advantage nonetheless. The third row is where the Honda Accord fires back, offering an extra 2.6 cubic feet of space in the trunk, which is a fair advantage. The fourth and final row only proves that both sedans offer the typical amount of seating for the segment.

As you can see, the two sedans are similar to one another, but each has a leg up in certain areas. For the Camry, that’s power and efficiency, but the Accord offers more space. There is plenty more to look at, however, in terms of features and tech, which you can read about here on our website and blog. Feel free to give us a call with any questions you might have.
