Now firmly in the 2018 calendar year, it’s time for the first models of the 2019 model year to begin being unveiled. For Toyota, the very first model to be announced was the 2019 Toyota Avalon in Palatine IL. The completely redesigned, all-new flagship sedan turned heads at the North American International Auto Show when it made its debut, and we imagine it will continue to do so after its release.
While many of the exact specifications have yet to be confirmed, Toyota has stated that the all-new 2019 Avalon will be both more powerful and more efficient than previous iterations. That’s an impressive mix, and it wouldn’t be possible without a host of upgrades and new features. So, we thought we’d dive into some of those new things, to give you a better idea of exactly what the next-generation Avalon has to offer.
Some of the most obvious updates found in the 2019 Toyota Avalon are, of course, the exterior and interior aesthetic changes. The new Avalon adopts the Toyota New Global Architecture platform, which enabled a sleeker design, and engineers went ahead and made it even more sophisticated to boot. But the sleeker design isn’t even the best part of the all-new Avalon.
In order to achieve those promised increases in power and efficiency, the Avalon needed a new engine. In particular, a brand-new 3.5L V6 engine featuring all kinds of new technologies and performance-enhancing features. Even still, we’re only scratching the surface. As the brand’s flagship sedan, the new Avalon had to be packed full of outstanding content to sate the appetites of premium buyers.
Things like the outstanding available sound system from JBL certainly do just that, with its 14 speakers and 1200-watt amplifier. If you’re interested in a 2019 Toyota Avalon, be sure to get in touch with us right here at Arlington Toyota.
