The all-new 2018 Toyota Camry will be arriving sometime this summer and the new model year features a more stylish exterior, a new suspension and an array of new features. Since learning about the updated 2018 Camry, customers have been patiently waiting to get their hands on one. To see exactly what has changed from the previous model year, take a look at this 2018 Toyota Camry vs 2017 Toyota Camry comparison.
The 2018 Camry features a bolder and more athletic design thanks to the fact that the new Camry is longer, lower and wider than the previous model. Drivers will also notice that the 2018 Camry will have superior ride comfort, reduce road noise and a more engaging drive all because of the more sophisticated rear suspension in the all-new Camry.
All of the powertrain choices for the 2018 Camry are either new or have been improved. The all-new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is the base engine for the new Camry and it should produce about 200 horsepower which is about 30 more horsepower than the 2017 Camry's four-cylinder engine. The 2018 Camry will also feature the optional 3.5-liter V6 which produces about 296 horsepower. Both engines are paired with the new eight-speed automatic transmission which is making its first appearance in the Camry.
The 2018 Camry will also feature some new safety and technology features as well. The new Camry will feature the revised Entune 3.0 which will feature in-vehicle wi-fi, dynamic navigation, safety connect and much more. The first time as well, Toyota Safety Sense P will be standard on all Camry models. This suite of active safety features includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, full-speed-range adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and mitigation and automatic high-beam headlight control.
