2021 Toyota Highlander Seating and Comfort Features
Here at Arlington Toyota in Palatine, IL, we know that many people enjoy leather seats in their vehicles. They’re comfy and get even comfier as they age (if they’re well taken care of, that is). The Toyota Highlander, a three-row midsize SUV, is a popular vehicle choice. But just how comfortable is it?
The 2021 Toyota Highlander has many different upholstery options, but does it have leather seats? Let’s take a look.
Depending on the trim you get, the 2021 Highlander comes equipped with cloth upholstery, synthetic leather upholstery, or leather upholstery. The Highlander L and LE trims have cloth seats. The XLE and XSE trims have synthetic leather seats. Lastly, the top-tier Limited and Platinum trims are decked out with genuine leather seating. Heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats, and second-row captain’s chairs are all available, too.
Other Comfort Features
The 2021 Highlander L comes standard with tri-zone automatic climate control and an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat. The LE trim adds a power liftgate and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The sporty XLE trims adds the aforementioned front heated seats and second-row captain’s chairs, as well as a four-way power-adjustable passenger’s seat and second-row sunshades. It also bumps up the driver’s seat to a 10-way adjustability. The XSE adds ambient interior lighting. Limited trim models get ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The penultimate Platinum trim gains a panoramic moonroof and heated second-row seats.
