We’re keeping our fingers crossed for an all-new, redesigned Toyota Tundra sometime in the next couple of years, but for the 2020 model year? The 2020 Toyota Tundra doesn’t see too many changes outside of a few updates to its TRD Pro trim level. While hybrid technology has become increasingly prevalent throughout the automotive industry, we’ve yet to see a truly hybrid pickup truck on the market. It would make sense for the company who introduced the very first mass-produced hybrid car to the world to also make the first hybrid truck, but are they doing it? We’re sure that Toyota has thought about and perhaps even dabbled in putting hybrid technology in a pickup truck, but it hasn’t happened yet and isn’t confirmed for any time soon.
