2020 Toyota Sienna Safety Features
For those of us looking to get a minivan, there are a few criteria that everyone considers: efficiency, cargo space, seating capacity, and, perhaps most importantly, safety. A minivan can have excellent fuel economy, be super spacious, and seat more people than anything else on the road, but if it’s not up to snuff safety-wise, then it’s no good.
So, what safety features does the 2020 Toyota Sienna have?
2020 Sienna Safety Suite
The 2020 Toyota Sienna has the Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P) suite of features. Every 2020 Sienna, regardless of trim, has a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Available features include blind-spot monitoring and a bird’s eye view camera. It also has eight standard airbags, a 2-year/25,000-mile ToyotaCare maintenance plan, 24-hour roadside assistance, and the Star Safety System™. The Star Safety System™ is the safety suite with enhanced vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brake system, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, and smart stop technology.
Family Friendly Tech
The Sienna has all sorts of tech inside to keep you and your family connected. For instance, the Sienna has Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa capability that let you control your favorite apps via the 7-inch touchscreen or with voice commands. The Driver Easy Speaker feature lets you talk to the rear rows through the Sienna speakers. It also has a Wi-Fi hotspot that can support up to five devices simultaneously. Conveniently, it also has five USB ports to keep all those devices powered.
