2021 RAV4 Prime Performance

The 2021 RAV4 Prime sports a 2.5L 4-cylinder 302-hp engine coupled with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The battery can power the RAV4 Prime by itself for 39 miles before switching to its combustion engine counterpart. Thanks to the battery, the RAV4 Prime reaches an EPA-estimate 90 mpg-e. It reaches these incredible numbers through the Predictive Efficient Drive system that adapts to driver tendencies and behaviors in order to optimize hybrid charging and discharging actions. That hybrid drivetrain also helps it do 0-60 mph in a class-defining 5.8 seconds. The Prime also has the Toyota advanced Electronic On-Demand AWD system featured in the 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. All this culminates in the fastest, most powerful, and most fuel-efficient RAV4 ever.
