What’s new in the 2019 Highlander?
There aren’t a ton of changes or enhancements for 2019, but the ones they made are exciting. On the exterior of the LE, LE PLUS and XLE grades – for both the gas-powered Highlander and the Highlander Hybrid – a new black bodyside rocker panel adds a little extra oomph to the crossover’s design. For the SE trim level, the new black bodyside rocker is joined by black headlights, taillights, wheels and chrome LED fog lamps. Then the Limited and Platinum grades on both models also gain the chrome LED fog lamps.
Other Specs & Features
Although the aforementioned design cues are the only new things in the 2019 model, there is plenty more to get excited about in the 2019 Highlander. It’s packed with safety technology, including things like Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and the Bird’s Eye View Camera, the former of which comes standard on LE+ models and above while the latter is standard on the Limited Platinum.
We’ve only scratched the surface of what the 2019 Highlander has to offer, but you can look back to blogs focusing on the 2018 Highlander to get even more info on the crossover’s specs, features and other details as it retains almost all of these things.
